Marshallòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Alasia Hayes (5) blocks a shot attempt by Arkansas Stateòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Melodie Kapinga on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Cam Henderson Center in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓÆµ” Alasia Hayes, a rising senior guard for the Marshall womenòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s basketball team, has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Her sister and Thundering Herd leading scorer Aislynn Hayes graduated this year.

The younger Hayes came to Marshall after stops at Notre Dame and Mississippi State. She played sparingly last season after appearing in 24 games, starting one, as a sophomore. She averaged 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
