HeƵs only carried the ball 55 times this season, but Knight has made the most of those chances, tallying 366 yards and reaching the end zone twice on the ground and one more time through the air. Each of those three scores have come in the last three weeks. How the Dukes use the redshirt sophomore against the Herd is something on which to keep an eye.
ƵThey donƵt do any flash, nothing like trick plays or anything like that, but they just want to spot the ball and see what they can get on you,Ƶ Marshall defensive lineman Mike Green said of the Dukes. ƵIf it works or not, they are going to continue to do what theyƵve got scripted up.Ƶ
Defense: DL Immanuel Bush
The former Marshall defensive lineman is in his second season with the Dukes and has started all 11 games in 2024. While his stats donƵt pop off the sheet like some of the other JMU linemen, Marshall coach Charles Huff said heƵs one of the strongest bodies on the line.
HeƵs got 29 tackles, a half-sack, two quarterback hurries and an interception this season.
ƵHe did a good job for us and he transferred to JMU and heƵs had a really good career,Ƶ Huff said of his former player. ƵHeƵs one of the inside guys that is extremely powerful and extremely strong and does a really good job getting off the ball.Ƶ
