Layla Marshall went 2 for 3 with a home run and three runs batted in for the Timberwolves (10-6). Kate Spry was 3 for 3 with two RBIs. Riley Hedrick and Laykin Adkins each went 2 for 3 and knocked in two.
The Cougars dipped to 3-15.
IRONTON WINS TWO: Ironton won twice Tuesday in the Cal Ripken Experience high school softball showcase.
In the first game, Ava Bihl allowed three hits and struck out nine to help the Fighting Tigers beat Loris (South Carolina) 9-4. Bihl also went 2 for 2. Braegan Thomas was 3 for 3 and Aubrey Ferguson went 2 for 4. Miley Boas knocked in two runs.
Jaci Griffin homered for the Lions (9-9).
In the second game, Ironton (13-3) beat James Monroe (5-11) of Lindside, West Virginia, 11-2. Bihl was 3 for 4 with four runs batted in. Bias went 2 for 4, as did Jenna Compliment and Kenley Neal. Ferguson drove in a pair of runs. Bias earned the win.
POINT PLEASANT 5, PARKERSBURG SOUTH 4: The Big Blacks erased a 3-0 deficit to defeat the visiting Patriots.
Bralee Roush plated Brynn Roush with the first run. Jayden Angel knocked in two runs on two hits. Josie Shobe smacked a pair of hits. Rylann Macknight was the winning pitcher.
Kylie Conley swatted three hits for two RBIs for Parkersburg South. Anniston Shelton and Brooklin Whitehead each tallied two hits. Shelton hit a home run.
NELSONVILLE-YORK 15, MEIGS 13: The Buckeyes (8-3) rallied from an 8-6 deficit with six runs in the fifth inning to beat the visiting Marauders (10-4).

HUNTINGTON ST. JOE 4, WIRT COUNTY 1: David Beane struck out 11 Tigers in six innings as the Irish won at the YMCA Kennedy Center in Huntington.
Beane singled in two runs to give St. Joe a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Beane and Brayden McDowell each finished with two hits. Beane and Wyatt Pence each drove in two runs.
IRONTON 10, ROCK HILL 2: The Tigers fell behind 2-0 before scoring 10 straight runs to defeat the Redmen in Pedro, Ohio.
Carson Freeman picked up the win and knocked in three runs. Tyler Roach went 3 for 5. Braylon Baker was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Ian Ginger knocked in two and went 2 for 5. Jacob Hughes and Tanner Kleinman each were 2 for 3.
RIPLEY 10, WAYNE 1: The Pioneers scored the first run on Tuesday night.
Ripley countered with the next 10 as the host Vikings knocked off the Pioneers in Cardinal Conference play.
Ripley (12-2) only needed seven hits to do it. The Vikings worked nine walks and a hit-by-pitch, while pitcher Bryson Casto only issued two walks and hit one batter.
Ripleyòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Cash Clendenin was the only batter in the game with multiple hits. He was 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Peyton Keller also drove in two runs.
Casto, Jackson Curry and Eli Phalen scored two runs apiece.
Casto went the distance on the hill, allowing one unearned run on three hits. He fanned nine Pioneers.
Logan Prater scored the lone run for Wayne (3-14).
Jacob Thompson took the decision for the Pioneers. He allowed three runs on two hits over three innings.

SYMMES VALLEY 7, NORTHWEST 5: The Vikings scored twice in the top of the seventh inning to beat the Mohawks (3-4) in McDermott, Ohio.
Braden Hankins singled in Andy Strow with the winning run. Tanner Corn crossed the plate on a wild pitch to set the score. Corn was the winning pitcher. Hankins went 4 for 4 with two RBIs. Strow was 3 for 4.
Austin Smith went 2 for 3 and Logan Shepherd 2 for 4 for Northwest.
SYMMES VALLEY 13, WESTERN PIKE 2: The Vikings (9-3) took advantage of seven Indians errors to win in Latham, Ohio.
