The Timberwolves beat Tipp City (Ohio) Tippecanoe 11-5 as Kate Spry hit two home runs, drove in five runs, went 4 for 4, scored three runs and stole one base. Sydney Turner was 3 for 4 with three runs scored and two stolen bases. Riley Hedrick went 2 for 4 with two runs batted in and Laykin Adkins 2 for 3.
Hedrick earned the win, allowing seven hits, striking out two and walking three in seven innings.
In the second game, Spring Valley lost to Wellston 8-6.
Spry homered twice and went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Layla Marshall went 2 for 4 and knocked in two runs. Turner was 2 for 4 with a pair of stolen bases.
CABELL MIDLAND 10, CAPITAL 0: Katelynn Harless smacked three hits, including one home run, in three at bats and stole a base to help the Knights (14-2) beat the Cougars (3-13) at Paul Adams Field in Ona.
Becca Conrad was 2 for 3 with one double and one triple. Linda Garcia earned the win.
RIVERSIDE 9, HUNTINGTON HIGH 7: Riley Smith smashed a walk-off home run to lift the Warriors over the Highlanders in Belle, West Virginia.
Smith drove in three runs in dropping Huntington High to 3-14.
COAL GROVE 7, ROCK HILL 5: The Hornets (8-3 overall, 5-1 Ohio Valley Conference) broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, then held off the Redwomen (4-8, 3-3).
Rylee Black went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs for Coal Grove. Rylee Bare drove home a pair of runs. Abbie Deeds went 3 for 4 and scored twice. Deeds allowed six hits, struck out 16 and walked two to pick up the win.
Charlee Long was 2 for 4 with two RBIs for Rock Hill. Samantha Bamer went 2 for 4.
IRONTON 15, SOUTH POINT 5: Aubrey Ferguson whacked a grand slam and knocked in eight runs as part a 3-for-5 effort in the Fighting Tigersòòò½ÊÓÆµ™ victory over the visiting Pointers.
Ironton improved to 11-3 overall, 7-2 in the OVC as Ava Bihl went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Khamil Martin plated two runs. Aubry Shavers went 2 for 3.
South Point led 3-1 after Kota Copleyòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s two-run double and Josie Kiddòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s solo homer. Copley was 3 for 4 with two RBIs. Saratina Jackson went 2 for 3.
LINCOLN COUNTY 1, WINFIELD 0: Arien Cooper threw a shutout with 13 strikeouts as the Panthers beat the Generals.
Cooper also went 3 for 4.
BOYD COUNTY SWEEPS: The Lions (13-8) took both games of a doubleheader 16-6 and 12-2 with Middletown (Ohio) Lakota East in Cannonsburg, Kentucky.
In the opener, Lacyn Black went 2 for 3 with a home and two RBIs. Brooke Jacobs was 2 for 4 with three RBIs. Savanna Henderson was 2 for 4 and knocked in four. Kyli Kouns and Elyn Simpkins each swatted two hits. Simpkins was the winning pitcher.
In the nightcap, Henderson was 3 for 3 with a homer and three RBIs. Mya Hamilton drove in two runs and Black was the winner.
ASHLAND DROPS TWO: The Kittens (7-10) lost to Louisville Male 13-3 and Louisville Ballard 9-8 in the Ballard Triangle.
Jenna Delaney went 3 for 4 against the Bulldogs (13-4), who received two RBIs apiece from Claire King, Josslyn Woolsey and Lilly Jones. Jones homered. Woolsey earned the win.
Delaney was 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs against the Cardinals (11-9). Riley Harmon and Addi Laine each drove home two runners. Zoey Smith, Brookelyn Duckwyler and Harmon whacked two hits apiece.
Lucy Strobel and Shelby James each plated a pair of runs for Ballard.
RUSSELL SPLITS: The Red Devils beat Fleming County 9-5 and lost to East Carter 5-4 in the David Irey Classic at Bath County High School in Owingsville, Kentucky.
ROWAN COUNY 3, GREENUP COUNTY 1: The Vikings (14-2) won their 13th consecutive game, edging the Musketeers (12-3) in Morehead, Kentucky.
Kassi Perkins was the winning pitcher. Lauryn Eastham was 2 for 2 with a home run and two RBIs. Malana Hamm slapped two hits.
Addison Branim and Maddy Steele each had two hits for Greenup County.
EASTERN MEIGS 18, PORTSMOUTH 5: òòò½ÊÓÆµhlynn Thomas drove in five runs and scored four on four hits as the Eagles crushed the host Trojans.
Rylie White slapped five hits to plate five runs. Emma Putnam drove in a trio of runs on as many hits. White and Aedre Ault each homered.

Ethan Sutton went 2 for 3 for Ironton.
SYMMES VALLEY 8, MINFORD 0: Braden Hankins hurled a four-hit shutout, striking out six and walking one as the Vikings (6-3) beat the host Falcons (4-3).
Hankins also went 2 for 3. Will Jones was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Justin Fields drove in two, as did Tanner Thompson.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY 12, ASHLAND 0: Howard Jordan hurled a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts as the Indians (12-7) routed the Tomcats (6-12) in Mount Sterling, Kentucky.
Owen Burton went 2 for 3 with three RBIs. Jayse Mays knocked in three runs. Jaimen Caba and Evan Copher each plated two.
BOYD COUNTY 10, PIKEVILLE 7: The Lions (14-3) won their 11th in a row as Cole Adams drove in four runs in Cannonsburg, Kentucky.
