Cabell Midland shot 9-under as a team. Alex White shot 32, Carson Sergent 35 and Wyatt Maynard 36.
Cash Jones led the Blue Devils with a 38. Braedon Cardwell shot 39, Beau Conley 40 and Brady Conley 46.
Volleyball
SOUTH WEBSTER 3, GALLIA ACADEMY 0: Sidney Keslar made 28 assists to help the Jeeps sweep the Blue Angels in Centenary, Ohio.
Makayla Maynard made 12 kills for South Webster. For Gallia Academy, Gracyn Clark recorded 21 assists and Aubree Frazier 10 kills.
ASHLAND 3, EAST CARTER 0: The Volleycats improved to 11-0 with a 25-12, 25-15, 25-16 sweep of the Raiders (9-10) in Grayson, Kentucky.
BETSY LAYNE 3, LAWRENCE COUNTY 2: Hanna Hamilton handed out 35 assists and Jayden Jarrell made 35 kills to pace the Bobcats (4-3) to a triumph over the Bulldogs (7-6) in Stanville, Kentucky.
Christian Howell chipped in 21 digs.
Girls soccer
RUSSELL 4, FLEMING COUNTY 0: Emma Stamper scored all four goals as the host Red Devils (4-4) beat the Panthers (5-2-3) in flatwoods, Kentucky.
Ava Barker issued two assists. Sophia Bagby and Madelyn Wells each made one assist. Gabrielle Williams made eight saves to earn the win.
Boys soccer
LAWRENCE COUNTY 8, PAINTSVILLE 1: Andrew Vinson scored five goals and assisted on two as the Bulldogs (6-3) routed the Tigers (5-4) in Louisa, Kentucky.
Cooper Vinson scored one goal and made one assist, as did Aiden Mynhier. Ryland Brady scored once. Owen Pack turned in one assist. Brady made three saves and Cole Robinette two.
