Chesapeake High Schoolòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Kate Ball was named to the Ohio North-South all-star basketball game roster. The Panthersòòò½ÊÓÆµ™ star averaged 15.5 points per game last season. She has signed with the University of Rio Grande.
Ball will be joined on the team by Daysha Reid of Division V state champion Portsmouth. Reid signed with Georgetown College.
The game is set for 6 p.m. April 25 at Olentangy Orange High School.
On the West Virginia side, the South girls roster for the June 13 game at the South Charleston Community Center features Brooke Adkins of Wayne, Alex Anderson of Hurricane and Allie Daniels of Spring Valley. Adkins, who signed with Youngstown State, averaged 14.3 points per game, Anderson 15.9, and Daniels, who signed with West Virginia Wesleyan, 12.0.
Also on the South squad is Addyson Amick and Halle Crouse of Logan, Calee Blackburn of Wyoming East, Maggie Boroski of James Monroe, Kynadee Britton of Sissonville, Laila Campbell of Riverside, Brooke Christian of Chapmanville, Jaycee Elzy of St. Albans, Addisyn Smith of Mingo Central, Natalie Smith of Nitro, Preslee Treadway of Greenbrier West and Adrienne Truman of Nicholas County.

Coming off knee surgery, South Gallia girls trackòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Gracyn Cremeens broke program records in the 100 in 13.53, the 100 hurdles in 16.45 and the 300 hurdles in 50.62.
Cabell Midland softballòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Becca Conrad and Nicole Harris each recorded her 100th career hit and pitcher Drea Watts her 500th strikeout. George Washington softballòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Lauren Ballard threw a no-hitter in an 11-0 win over Capital. Riversideòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Shaylea Blackhurst hit three home runs in a 12-4 triumph over South Charleston.
Ironton softballòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Aubrey Ferguson drove in eight runs in a 15-5 win over South Point.
