Martinsburg and Hurricane face off in an intersectional matchup of Class AAAA contenders, while Williamstown and Scott aim to build momentum with a signature win in their regular-season finales. Herbert Hoover goes to Weir with the aim of completing an undefeated regular season, and South Charleston and Capital meet up in one of the Kanawha ValleyƵs top rivalries.

Martinsburg finishes off Hurricane, but takes forfeit loss
Right about the same time Martinsburg completed its 44-17 victory at Hurricane to presumably complete a 10-0 regular season, the ƵSSAC announced the Bulldogs would forfeit a victory earlier in the season over Musselman due to the use of an ineligible player.
Martinsburg hasn't lost on the field but will take a 9-1 mark into the postseason.
Huntington High beats Linsly 55-20
The Highlanders finish 9-1 and await their playoff pairing on Sunday. The Cadets end 0-10.
Huntington High pulling away late
Avonte Crawford scrambles 5 yards for a touchdown. Jordan Price kicks another extra point. Mayshaun Okonkwo runs 23 yards for a TD. Huntington High leads Linsly 55-20 with 9:55 to play.
Linsly made things interesting for a while
Linsly went 68 yards in eight plays, capped by a Braden Wade 4-yard touchdown pass to Simon Hamp to pull the Cadets within 34-20 of Huntington High. The Highlanders responded with a nine-play, 71-yard trek ending with a 3-yard TD run by Keegan Sack. Huntington High is up 41-20 at 3:51 of the third quarter.
Bulldogs rolling
The Martinsburg Bulldogs head into the final quarter ahead 38-17.
The Bulldogs scored 21 points in the third quarter in large part to quarterback Koi Fagan. Fagan had a hand in two scores.
Sherman adds four touchdowns in the third quarter
Leading 22-0 at the halftime, Sherman added a 23-yard touchdown run by Eli Pauley, a 16-yard run by River Williams, a 5-yard run by Dawson Green plus a 34-yard pick six by defensive lineman Ryan Skeens. Spencer Jones returned a kickoff 70 yards to get Poca on the scoreboard, but the Dots trail the Tide 51-7 at the end of the third quarter.
Linsly scores on last play of the half
Braden Wade connects with Ramello Derr on a 14-yard touchdown pass as time expires in the first half. Santiago Graneros with the extra point make it Huntington High 34, Linsly 13.
Knotted at half at Hurricane
Martinsburg and Hurricane are knotted up at 14 at halftime.
The Bulldogs scored 14 points in the second quarter to tie the game at the break.
Hurricane will start the second half with the football.
Highlanders pulling away from Cadets
Avonte Crawford with a 39-yard touchdown strike to Jmari Tubbs. Jordan Price with the extra point. Huntington High leads Linsly 34-6 with 1:37 left in the second quarter.
Huntington High goes to the air to score
Avonte Crawford throws a 31-yard touchdown pass to Tayveon Wilson. Jordan Price adds the extra point. Huntington High leads Linsly 27-6 with 4:29 left until halftime.
Price rings up another field goal
Jordan Price kicks a 31-yard field goal to put Huntington High a 20-6 lead over Linsly.
Rough first half for Poca
Needing a win to keep its Class AA playoff hopes alive, Poca had four turnovers in the first half -- two of which were converted into Sherman touchdowns -- as the Tide took a 22-0 lead into halftime.
Huntington High extends lead to 17-6
Keegan Sack scores again, this time on a 4-yard run. Jordan Price kicks the point after.
Cadets march 80 yards for a touchdown
Linsley caps a 10-play, 80-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown pass from Braden Wade to Ramello Derr. The conversion kick failed. Huntington High leads the Cadets 10-6 at the end of the first quarter.
Sack puts Highlanders up 10-0
Keegan Sack ran over and through Linsly defenders for a 10-yard touchdown. Jordan Price boosts the point-after and Huntington High leads 10-0 with 4:23 left in the first quarter.
It's up and it's good
Jordan Price kicks a 30-yard field goal to give Huntington High a 3-0 lead over Linsly at 10:32 of the first quarter.
Redskins take early lead into second
The Hurricane Redskins jump out to an early 17-7 lead after one quarter.
The Redskins saw Kylan Grace sneak in from 3 yards out.
The following Hurricane possession, quarterback Noah Vellaithambi connected with KnoƵsean Hampton for the 56-yard score.
Martinsburg got on the board with a minute left in the first after Koi Fagan snuck in from three yards out.
