West Virginia Thunder won the Girls Basketball òòò½ÊÓÆµsociation fourth-grade championship Sunday in the Cincinnati area. The team is ranked third in the nation on the Naismith National Youth All-American Report.
Chesapeake High School senior quarterback Austin Browning was selected to attend the Blue-Grey National Super Combine, June 23-24, at the NFL Washington Redskins Training Facility in Richmond, Virginia. Browning led Chesapeake in rushing last season with 1,562 yards (9.4 yards per carry) and 16 touchdowns.
