The long-simmering public vs. private school tiff is heating up even more.

Administrators from Tolsia High School recently proposed to the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission that to help eliminate a competitive advantage, a private school be required only to field a roster of players from within the district of the public school in which it resides. In essence, Huntington St. Joe, for instance, would be permitted to play only players from within the Huntington High district. Private school coaches are vehemently against that plan.
