Marshall guard Taevion Kinsey nearly had a triple-double and forward Obinna Anochili-Killen had season-best's of 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Marshall to an 86-67 win over Coppin State on Saturday night at Cam Henderson Center.

For much of the year, Marshall guard Taevion Kinsey is locked in to being a college basketball player for the Herd. On Monday night, however, Kinsey put away his Marshall gear for a few hours to cheer on Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Marshall's scheduled men's basketball series with Charlotte has been postponed after the Herd could not meet Conference USA's requirements regarding available players for game-play, the school announced Wednesday.
