BUFFALO, W.Va. Ƶ With 200,000 tulips in bloom, the Tulip Festival is underway at GrittƵs Farm for its second year.
In addition to the flowers, the festival, which runs through April 13, features more than 20 kid-friendly farm playground attractions and food stands on site at the farm in Buffalo, Putnam County.
On Tuesday, Nate Yongue returned to GrittƵs Farm to propose marriage to his girlfriend Andrea Jones, three-and-a-half years after their first date at the farm.

ƵI saw the tulips and I know thatƵs her favorite flower,Ƶ said Yongue, 21, of Vinton, Ohio. ƵIt couldnƵt get any better than that.Ƶ
Jones, 19, of Pomeroy, Ohio, didnƵt see it coming.
ƵI thought we were going to just look at flowers, and he proposed,Ƶ Jones said. ƵIt was a complete surprise.Ƶ
They havenƵt settled on a wedding venue yet, but they said GrittƵs Farm could be in the running.
ƵWeƵre hoping to have a spring or summer wedding next year,Ƶ Jones said.
