HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓÆµ” A man is wanted for questioning in the death of his wife, according to the Huntington Police Department, which is seeking the publicòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s assistance in locating him.
According to a news release from HPD, officers responded to a call at 928 12th Ave. at 4:08 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, for a welfare check of the woman living there. Officers found the woman, identified as Michelle Daniels, 47, of Huntington, with severe injuries. She was taken to a local hospital, where she died Sunday evening, according to HPD.
Huntington Police detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide and are seeking Michelle Danielsòòò½ÊÓÆµ™ husband, Robert Lee Daniels, 55, for questioning, the release states.
Robert Daniels is wanted by the West Virginia State Police for unrelated felony charges of threats of terroristic acts and retaliation against a public official.
Robert Daniels has ties to Huntington, Mingo County and Pike County, Kentucky. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is advised to contact 911.
The Huntington Police Departmentòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Criminal Investigations Bureau is investigating the incident with assistance from the Mingo County Sheriffòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Department, West Virginia State Police and Kentucky State Police.
