HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓƵ” The Marshall University family has two new members of royalty.
Marshall did not score a touchdown in the first 59:27 of game action, but scored with 33 seconds left to force overtime before getting a touchdown pass from Grant Wells to Shadeed Ahmed and a key defensive stop to earn a 20-13 overtime win for Homecoming 2021 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Saturday.
One week after Marshall saw a potential onside kick recovery end up a half-yard the wrong way, the Herd got the benefit of a half-yard on Saturday when Old Dominion's desperation 58-yard field goal attempt fell a yard short.
