HUNTINGTON Ƶ The Tamarack FoundationƵs ƵThe Art of Fellowship,Ƶ an exhibition celebrating the creative voices of past Master Fellows, Emerging Artist Fellows and Creative Entrepreneur Fellows, is on view at the Marshall University Visual Arts Center through July 11.
ƵThe Art of Fellowship represents the heart of our mission at Tamarack Foundation for the Arts Ƶ investing in West VirginiaƵs creative talent and watching it flourish. These artists exemplify whatƵs possible when we provide resources, mentorship, and community support to our stateƵs most promising voices.Ƶ said Renee Margocee, executive director of Tamarack Foundation for the Arts.
This collection brings together the work of artists from across the state of West Virginia, highlighting the power of fellowship to nurture talent, fuel innovation, and foster sustainable creative careers. Each piece in the exhibition is a reflection of the entrepreneurial spirit and artistic growth that the fellowship programs are designed to support.
ƵThe Art of the Fellowship Exhibition is a great example of how we are connecting artists from across the state and creating opportunities. ItƵs more than just an art exhibition; itƵs a testament to the art communityƵs strength and vitality,Ƶ said Robby Moore, arts extension educator with West Virginia State University Extension Service.
A closing reception will be held on the evening of Friday, July 11, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., where many participating artists will gather for an evening of connection and community. The public is invited to attend and meet the artists whose work represents a vibrant cross-section of West VirginiaƵs creative landscape.
