HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓÆµ” Tri-State Literacy Council and Cabell County Public Library have partnered to host the 11th annual Bolt for Books: Library 5K for Literacy.
Bolt for Books is a 5K fundraising venture to raise money for Tri-State Literacy Council and Cabell County Public Library.
Tri-State Literacy Council (TSLC) is a local nonprofit helping adults gain the literacy skills they need to succeed by providing one-to-one tutoring, classroom instruction and online learning. It provides reading instruction to adults, high school equivalency preparation and workforce preparation to any adult with an educational or professional goal.
The race will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Ritter Park in Huntington.
Participants can sign up on Tri-State Racer’s website, , at any of the library locations, or by emailing literacy@cabellcountylib.org for a registration form. Race day volunteers are also needed.
