HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓÆµ” Cabell County Schools will continue to provide meals through its federally funded Summer Food Service Program this year for people ages 18 and under. The program begins June 16 and ends Aug. 1.
Through Cabell County Schools, students may access meals throughout the summer months at various community sites or pick up weekly meal boxes in rural parts of the district, as determined by the USDA, according to a news release. Daily breakfast and lunch are also provided as part of any summer learning program through Cabell County Schools.
According to the release, Huntington meal sites did not qualify through the USDA for multiple-day meal boxes, although Cabell County Schools may provide daily meals at those sites.
Director of Communications and Family Connections òòò½ÊÓÆµhley Stephens said there are no income requirements to receive the meals.
Daily meals will be provided Monday through Friday at the following locations and times:
A.D. Lewis Community Center, 1450 AD Lewis Ave. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Adams Landing, 820 Virginia Ave. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” 12:30 to 1 p.m.
Barboursville Public Library, 749 Central Ave. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cabell County Public Library, 455 9th St. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” noon to 1 p.m.
Gallaher Public Library, 368 Norway Ave. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” noon to 1 p.m.
Guyandotte Public Library, 203 Richmond St. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” noon to 1 p.m.
Marcum Terrace Community Center, 920 Marcum Terrace òòò½ÊÓÆµ” noon to 1 p.m.
Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 535 Norway Ave. òòò½ÊÓÆµ” 11:30 a.m. to noon

Parents may register for seven-day meal boxes each week. The link to sign up for the first week of meals starting June 18 will go live at 1 p.m. Monday, June 9, on the homepage at .
Stephens said parents need to sign up to reserve the boxes so Cabell County Schools can ensure there is an appropriate amount to give out at each site.
